Members of our chapter can help accelerate the pace of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research by raising funds for the annual Gala Fund A Cure campaign. All you have to do is set up a fundraising page, email the link to your contacts, and ask them to help you create a world without T1D! To get started, please sign up here.

Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) through a 100% tax-deductible donation toward JDRF’s mission. Fund A Cure donations help to continue the promise that JDRF and so many others have made to their loved ones with T1D…a promise to raise funds and invest those funds wisely in research until there is a cure.

About Us

JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of diabetes from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence and a working plan to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the T1D community.

T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.Your participation in JDRF events ensures that JDRF can continue funding critical T1D research. With your support, this research will continue to bring us closer to a world without T1D.

We are the organization that is building a cure,
and that will turn #TypeOneIntoTypeNone.

JDRF is an accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency.
