ROBBIE AND JUSTIN SHEPHERD
The annual black tie event will be held at La Cantera Resort and Spa
on Saturday, March 25. This spring will mark the 18th anniversary of
San Antonio’s Promise Ball. Raising more than $30 million since the
inaugural event in 2000, the Promise Ball remains a critically important
vehicle to raise funds that support research, treatment and prevention
of type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Promise Ball guests will
enjoy an elegant cocktail party followed by a seated dinner. The event
will feature a top-of-the-line Silent Auction - powered by wireless
bidding software on YOUR smartphone, exclusive Live Auction items, and live entertainment. Most
importantly, all guests will have the opportunity to participate in the
Fund A Cure program - where 100% of the donations directly support
diabetes research. If you cannot attend the Promise Ball, but still want
to contribute to cutting-edge research, you can click on the link to
the left to contribute to Fund A Cure.

We're the stop at nothing type
JDRF exists for the millions of children, adults, and families affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) every single day. Their determination to overcome this disease strengthens ours to end it by funding life-changing T1D research.
T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
Your participation in JDRF events ensures that JDRF can continue funding critical T1D research. With your support, this research will continue to bring us closer to a world without T1D.
