The 2016 JDRF Promise Ball theme is: 
Havana Nights - That Was Then, This Is Now
The annual black tie event will be held at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort on Saturday, April 9th. This spring will mark the 17th anniversary of San Antonio’s Promise Ball. Raising more than $30 million since the inaugural event in 2000, the Promise Ball remains a critically important vehicle to raise funds that support research, treatment and prevention of type 1 diabetes (T1D). 

Promise Ball guests will enjoy an elegant cocktail party followed by a seated dinner. The event will feature a top-of-the-line Silent Auction - powered by wireless bidding software on YOUR smartphone, exclusive Live Auction items, and a live performance by KOOL AND THE GANG! Most importantly, all guests will have the opportunity to participate in the Fund A Cure program - where 100% of the donations directly support diabetes research.
