The 2015 JDRF Promise Ball theme was “Generations of Hope”, and the black tie event was held at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort on Saturday, March 28th. This spring marked the 16th anniversary of San Antonio’s Promise Ball. Raising more than $30 million since the inaugural event in 2000, the Promise Ball remains a critically important vehicle to raise funds that support research, treatment and prevention of type 1 diabetes (T1D).

We were proud to raise $1.3 million this year for T1D research with the help of our sponsors, guests, and volunteers! A special thank you goes out to our Promise Ball Chairs, Michelle and Doug Koskie, for their leadership and vision for the Promise Ball! 

Promise Ball guests enjoyed an elegant cocktail party followed by a seated dinner. The event boasted a Silent Auction powered by wireless handheld electronic “BidPals”, once-in-a-lifetime Live Auction items, and a live performance by Austin dance-band JUICE. Most importantly, all guests were give the opportunity to participate in the Fund A Cure program, where 100% of the donations directly support diabetes research. You can still give to Fund A Cure by clicking on "Donate to Fund A Cure" on the pane to the left.
